2019 MSA Dr John Hammerton Scholarship Recipient – Calida Sokoliwski
The MSA is pleased to announce that the 2019 Dr John Hammerton MSA Scholarship recipient is Calida Sokoliwski of Libau, MB. Calida is currently studying Animal Health Technology at Lakeland College in Vermillion, AB and plans to obtain her Veterinary Technician certification. Her plan after graduation is to return home to help grow her own family’s flock, as well as potentially start one of her own.
Thank you to the MSA Scholarship Committee for their work in selecting the recipient. Congratulations, Calida!

2019 MSA Show & Sale

Due to the lack of entries submitted to the 2019 MSA Show & Sale that was to be held on September 14th in conjunction with the Manitoba Fiber Festival, we have had to unfortunately cancel our event.
The MSA Show & Sale Committee had been preparing for this event for some time now. It saddens us to a great extent to have to cancel it because of lack of entries as this venue was a great opportunity to collaborate with the Manitoba Fiber Festival. MSA will be organizing the 2020 MSA Show & Sale as a stand-alone event as it has been in the past.
MSA hopes to see you all next year…at the 2020 MSA Show & Sale.
